Kitchen Makeover

OUR BAKERY KITCHEN

When we say we’re a husband & wife team baking from our home kitchen… we really mean it!

This week we decided (slightly madly ) to do a half kitchen refit in just 2 days. Needless to say we’re a little bit weary, so our click & collect menu will reopen tomorrow while we catch our breath and finish a few last bits.

A while ago, the incredibly generous folks at North Thoresby Community Orchard gifted us a beautiful marble tabletop (we were absolutely chuffed to bits!). (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61559539102322)

We have now turned it into our new kitchen island. We are honestly over the moon – it’s going to make pastry rolling and bread shaping so much easier! There are still a few finishing touches and a deep clean happening tomorrow morning, but we’re so happy with how it’s coming together. A huge thanks to Paul, and Russ for helping us out with the tricky / heavy bits!

We’ve got a few more changes planned later in the year, but for now… we’re ready to get back to the business of baking! Thank you for supporting our little home bakery – it means the world to us.
