We’re so lucky to have a brilliant team of trusted trades on this job.
The main support beams are in, and we’ve cut a new doorway through into our brand new storeroom. The stud walls and ceiling in there are up, plasterboard is fitted, and first section of plastering is done in the main shop space — Dave & Jeff are doing an incredible job.
The floor has been patched with matching flooring wherever walls came down — huge thanks to Steve Claridge Flooring. Not an easy job, but everyone onsite agrees the result looks amazing!
Electrics and plumbing have been moved to the new positions – big thanks to Ben Evison and Jim Dixon.
It’s all coming together beautifully, but we will be closed for a second weekend. Our new cabinets are delayed and won’t be with us until Sunday 20th 🫤 We will soon be able to get some paint on the walls!
To be fair we were being very ambitious in our timescale 🤪 this way everything will be looking as it should when we reopen the weekend of 26th & 27th September 🎉 Sorry for any disappointment but we can’t wait to show you the reality of all of our dreams.
